This modular ESTD-UK Post-Foundation workshop series has been developed and is delivered in collaboration with First Person Plural. It was designed in response to demand from counselling/psychotherapy and other mental health practitioners who have previously attended the ESTD UK Foundation Course. It is intended to extend knowledge & explore practice when working in a therapeutic role with complex, traumatic dissociation. Attendance on all four modules is strongly advised.
The course consists of 4 x 1 day modules as follows:-
- Module 1 : Evidence-Based Diagnosis and Informed Treatment for Dissociative Disorders and Complex PTSD: The SCID-D Facilitated by Remy Aquarone, Analytical Psychotherapist, Director of Pottergate Centre for Dissociation & Trauma & Past President ESTD
- Module 2: More Resources and resourcing : using a body centred approach for work with trauma and dissociation Facilitated by Dr Lyn Terry-Short, Chartered Psychologist
- Module 3 :- The evolving therapeutic relationship from the perspectives of complexly dissociative clients Facilitated by Melanie Goodwin & Kathryn Livingston (First Person Plural)
- Module 4: Struggling for relationship: Exploring complex practice issues Facilitated by Sue Richardson, Attachment-based Psychotherapist
