Simultaneous translations of the plenaries from English into German and French

As a service to colleagues who would prefer to hear the key note addresses at the conference in German or French, we will be providing simulteneous translations of these events in both German and French. We will also try to arrange simultaneous translations in these two languages for a selection of the other conference presentations. The cost of this service is only 30 Euro per participant. Would colleagues who wish to use this service indicate this using the appropriate fields when completing their conference registration.

 
Accreditation

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EDMR) association has granted the ESTD Pre-conference 6 contact hours and the Conference 14 contact hours.

As part of the requalification primary clinicians, the Nederlands Instituut voor Psychologen (NIP) association has granted the ESTD (Pre-)conference 10 contact hours.

As part of the requalification clinical psychologist, the Federatie van Gezondheidszorgpsychologen (FGzP) has granted the ESTD (Pre-)conference 20 contact hours.

CME points have been applied for Dutch participants only to the  following associations; 

  1. Nederlandse Vereniging voor Psychiatrie (NVvP)
  2. Vereniging voor Gedragstherapie en Cognitieve Therapie (VGCt)
 
Confirmation of Registration
After registration you will receive a confirmation (by e-mail) with all the relevant information. You will receive your program and badge on site.
 
Name change
If you are unable to attend the conference, you will be given the opportunity to have a colleague take your place. Name changes are free of charge until January 15th, 2008. After January 15th, 2008 there will be a charge of € 40 per name change.

Delegates who will cancel their registration before January 15th, 2008 will receive a full reimbursement, deducted by a cancellation fee of 35,- EUR.

No reimbursements will be made for cancellations received after January 15th, 2008. Reimbursements will not be given for late arrival, unused services, unattended events, or early departure from the conference.

 
Liability
The participant acknowledges that he/she has no right to lodge claims against the organizers should the holding of the meeting be hindered or prevented by unexpected political or economic events or generally by force majeure, or should the non-appearance of speakers or other reasons necessitate program changes. With registration, the participant accepts this proviso.
 

Letter of invitation
Individuals requiring an official letter of invitation for obtaining visa or permission to attend the conference.

Whether a prospective visitor needs to obtain a visa depends on his nationality and the length of his stay in the Netherlands. Citizens of many countries require a visa for an uninterrupted stay of up to three months. Participants requiring a visa for entry into the Netherlands are strongly advised to make their application in their home country at least three months before the intended date of travel.

Individuals who wish to receive an official letter of invitation to the conference, please contact the conference secretariat. Please note that this procedure has been designed only to assist participants who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the conference, and does not cover registration fees or other expenses. The invitation does not imply provision of financial or other support.

A certificate of attendance will be available on-site.
